Good battery life on new iPad

I have never been particularly interested in gadgets. Laptops, iPhones, iPads - you name it, I just wasn't that bothered. Then I broke my phone one day and got talked into buying an iPhone, well I didn't buy it I was given it for free when I took out a twelve month contract. Once I had got into everything that it could do I was hooked! I could make and receive calls obviously but I could also listen to music, browse the internet, do my shopping online, download free apps, take videos, get some great quality pictures and keep on top of my social events with the calendar.

I could even watch movies and sports through the apps I had downloaded. The only problems I found were that the battery life wasn't great and of course the sceen was small. That's when I got thinking about an iPad. I trotted off down to my local shopping centre and went to the Apple store. I played around with the free iPads they had there. When I say free, I mean they were free to use. I could do everything on an iPad that I could do on an iPhone but everything was so much bigger it made a world of difference. I could even use FaceTime to chat with my friends and family with the double sided camera and the ten hour battery life means that I am not restricted to how long I can stay online either. Whilst my iphone lets me do so much, I decided that to complete the set I would have to get an iPad.

That was where the problem came in because although I really appreciated all that the iPad could offer me, I just couldn't afford the £500 plus price tag. Rather disheartened I went home and rang my friend and told him about my dilemma. Get into debt and have a fancy new iPad 2 or just plain and simply do without.

What he said next really shocked me. He said he knew of a way I could get a free ipad 2. I immediately assumed it would be illegal and as a Probation Officer I have to say I would never get drawn into something like that. He explained however that it was a well known system that involved a few easy steps.

Intrigued I let him carry on and to my surprise I understood what he was saying and decided to have a go. First of all I signed up to a site called freebiejeebies, this is a giveaway site that would give me the free iPad. I put in my basic details, then was redirected to a partner site. This was full of offers such as opening a bank account, joining the AA etc. All the sites were reputable, well known companies. I decided to take out a free trial with Lovefilm and I had done two thirds of what I had to do to get a free iPad 2. All that was left to do was refer other people to do the same. I asked around forty people to do what I had and when twenty five of them had done so I was sent my lovely new iPad in the post. It was guaranteed and brand new. I am so pleased I decided to trust my friends advice and sign up to freebiejeebies. Now that I have my free iPad 2 I am referring more people so I can get a free iPad 3 when it is released next month. The best thing is I only ever need to complete one offer and even better than that is that some of the people I have referred have also gone on to get free iPads too!

iPad much better than a laptop computer

The iPad is the best portable computer I have ever used. It is quite simply a delight to use. I take it everywhere with me, and can do because it is so light and portable. I used to have a tower PC at home and round that I constantly wanted to use my computer in different rooms and outside the home. I had looked at laptops before and was quite interested in getting one but I didn't know which one to choose. All this changed when my friend from London came to stay and brought her Apple iPad 2 with her.

The first thing that struck me about it was how lightweight and slim line it was. It just appeared from out of her bag, which wasn't even particularly big. There aren't many computers you can do this with so it was an immediate attraction. She let me have a play around with it and I was very impressed by the features. My friend had downloaded hundreds of applications including a Sat Nav, Argos, Boots and Photoshop apps. This was great because it meant that I could shop online no matter where I was. It also let me receive calls from Apple iphone users thanks to Face Time. This meant I could talk face to face with people far away. As I travel quite a lot I was impressed by this feature as I could catch up with friends and family. The other thing that impressed me was that I could watch films on the go thanks to the very good battery life, which was over ten hours. I could also watch my personal videos, photos and browse the net wherever I went. This was thanks to the 3G technology which enabled me to have constant access to the internet all over the world.

The issue of course was money, it wasn't cheap and certainly no one gave away a free iPad did they? Well yes they do! The first thing that you might think is that you can get a free iPad 2 if you sign a lengthy mobile phone contract. That is true of course but there are other ways too if you know where to look. The site that I am referring to is called freebiejeebies and is well known among the freebie community. All that people have to do is sign up to the freebie site. This involves giving the company your name, address and email address. After this you are directed to a partner site. You are then asked to complete a free or low cost trial offer or promotion. This might be taking out a fourteen day free trial with LoveFilm or opening a bank account.

The last step is to refer as many people as you can to do the same. Once, say twenty five, people have signed up to the process and completed an offer you will receive a free iPad in the post. With the iPad 3 being launched next month, a free ipad 3 could be yours within a matter of months.
